M8 molded cable connector is a high performance connector designed for industrial applications and is available in both male and female forms. The male connector is equipped with protruding metal pins for insertion into the female connector’s holes. The female connector is located on the device or panel to receive the male connector.
M8 connectors are also available with or without shielding. Shielded connectors have a protective layer against electromagnetic interference and are suitable for high-noise environments and sensitive applications. Unshielded connectors offer a lighter and more economical option in applications where protection from EMI is not required. Whether male or female, shielded or unshielded, M8 molded cable connectors provide reliable electrical connections and mechanical fastening for a variety of industrial environments and applications.
Common applications for the M8 connector include actuators, PLCs, I/O boxes, sensors, food and beverage processing switches, machine building, rubber and plastics, textile and printing presses, and HVAC system valves.
